Page Turners Book Club: Grades 4-6
Book: The Aquanaut, by Dan Santat
The Program: We discussed the book for the first 20 minutes of the program. To kick of the conversation, the kids go around the table and score the book on a scale from 1-10. This group is very animated and passionate about their books, so I don’t bring prepared questions because they always have a lot prepared that they want to share! We followed up with our activity.
Activity: We made origami book marks and designed them to look like fish and other sea life. You can find instructions on how to fold here.
