The Book: Masterminds, by Gordon Korman
The Program: For the first 20 minutes we had a discussion of the book. We use the following discussion prompts:
Rate the book on a scale of 1-10. Why did you give it that score?
Did you like the way the story was told through different perspectives? Why or Why not?
Would this make a good movie or TV show?
Activity: Since the kids in the book are clones of criminal masterminds, we made DNA! We made two kinds, one made out of pipecleaners and pony beads and one made out of twizzlers, skittle gummies, and toothpicks!
